We are a volunteer ran BASICS scheme in Hampshire, comprising of a small group of Paramedics with Extensive Pre-Hospital Care Experience & Qualifications who choose to volunteer their time in order to provide evidence based Enhanced Care including Advanced Analgesia, Sedation, Advanced Resuscitation, Major Trauma Interventions, Respiratory and Ventilation support and further Advanced Cardiac & Surgical procedures.
The SCAS Charity are pleased to support the growth of this group by providing assistance with funding as this essential service is entirely over & above that normally provided by the NHS statutory funding.
This team relies heavily on charitable donations to enable them respond to some of the most critically ill & injured patients. We are fortunate enough to have a fully liveried Volvo response vehicle donated to the Scheme by Smarter Metering Services to enable us respond quickly & safely across our operating region.
